Installation of submarine cable between Fauske and Breivik

Our cable vessel, "Nautilus Maxi" - with its skilled crew, has recently completed the installation of approximately 15.5 km of submarine cable between Fauske and Breivik. On the deepest sections along the route, the cable, which has a total weight of almost 300 tonnes, was installed at a water depth of 500 meters. It was also necessary to pass a fish farm allong the route, with the challenges it entails.

This was done in brilliant collaboration with Folden Akva and Wenberg Fiskeoppdret. With us on the team, was also Dragefossen who has prepared the land falls for us, assisted with cable pull in and is responsible for the installation of the submarine cable in substations.
